IT Security Officer (m/f)

Roles and essential activities:

  • Acts proactively to protects system and prevent potential disaster situations by ensuring that proper protections are in place, such as intrusion detection, prevention systems, firewalls, effective physical and logical safeguards, and by ensuring a business continuity/disaster recovery plan is in place
  •  Provides guidelines and recommendations related to: anti-malware, network access controls, SIEM, WAF, etc.
  • Directs an ongoing, proactive risk assessment program for all new and existing systems and ensure that effective controls to manage these risks are in place against the company’s goals and business processes
  • Assist the IT team in performing risk assessment related to technology implementation :
    • Perform research and coordination with Engineering to drive security
    • in-house developed software
    • Perform research and recommendation of appropriate security protection products and services, such as log management, security event management, and intrusion detection
  • Provide Information Security advisory to both IT and sales units
  • Develop key risk indicators and dash-boarding
  • Provides dashboards and reports to management committees presenting KPIs and risks scoring
  • Interface with auditors through the audit cycle
  • Assist in the definition of project scope / objectives and ensure the collaboration with all relevant stakeholders
  • Be involved in defining and following-up security projects planning
  • Develops and provide information security awareness training and education programs
  • Implements security improvements by assessing current situation; evaluating trends; anticipating requirements; evaluation security incidents;
  • Maintain and improve Policies/Standards/Procedures development, security awareness and information security architecture based on knowledge of best practices, regulatory requirements and specific needs of LuxTrust
  • Conduct security research in keeping abreast of latest market security issues
  • Coordinate/supervise/advise in implementing all the activities in an SSDLC lifecycle
  • Lead code reviews and penetration testing
  • Assist the security strategy to leverage new technology and new cyber-attacks
  • Conduct periodic security audits
     

Specific Profile:

  • Bac +5 or equivalent experience Knowledge in Information technology / Information Security / System engineer with security mindset
  • Skills and knowledge of IT, networks and Information security business
  • PKI knowledge is an asset
  • Strong analytical skills to analyse information security requirements and relate them to appropriate controls
  • Organized, responsive, accountable and highly thorough of problem solving oriented and solution driven
  • Experience in developing, documenting and maintaining policies, processes, procedures and standards
  • Prior security audit experience would be an asset
  • Knowledge of and experience in understanding documentation and regulatory compliance requirements
  • Ability to synthesize
  • Proactive attitude
  • Good team player and positive attitude in a challenging environment
  • Strong communication and writing skills
  • Foster team work and collaboration
  • Fluency in French and English, both oral and written
